About Magee
Meet Magee.
She is a gentle chocolate and white Border Collie x Kelpie looking for her forever home. She is a sweet soul who thrives in a calm environment and is ready to blossom with the right person.
She sleeps soundly through the night in her crate without incident, already knows sit, comes when called, calmly enters the house, is good on the lead, is improving with toilet training and is learning wait. She settles wonderfully in the car and is a relaxed passenger on road trips.
Lately, she has perfected the art of the sleep-in. She enjoys a morning snuggle on the lounge with a bit of playful wrestling before heading outside to tackle the day. At night, you'll find her on the lounge watching the TV or napping with you. Her favourite toy is a treat-dispensing ball that keeps her brain happy and engaged.
Magee loves other dogs. Her favourite game is chasing her canine foster siblings while they chase the ball, followed by close-up cuddle sessions for evening naps. True to her working breed, if the chooks are out she can't resist a bit of chicken-stalking, though ignores them when they are safe in their pen.
Magee is a shy, sensitive soul who needs a specific environment to thrive. Her perfect home must include; a quiet rural setting, one or two older doggy siblings, a household with a steady and gentle pace. A family with patient teenagers is ok - no children under 12, as she is still building her confidence around people.
If you have a gentle pace, plenty of love, and the patience to guide this beautiful girl at her own speed, Magee will reward you with a lifetime of loyalty and affection.
Magee is located in NSW.
