About Buttercup
Meet Buttercup — as sweet as her name, with soulful eyes that go straight to your heart. 🌼💛👀
Rescued in the nick of time with her three siblings before heavy Sydney rains hit ⛈️, Buttercup survived a tough start after losing her mum and sheltering in a drain. Thanks to some incredible humans 🫶, she was safely brought into care and is now loving the comfort of indoor life — and she’s ready for her forever family. 🏡✨
Buttercup had a brief wobble after her vaccinations 💉, but this strong little cookie has bounced back beautifully and is now in great health. 💪😺
Buttercup is quiet, relaxed soul who loves to lounge and watch the world go by. 🛋️😌
She is BIG on cuddles and purrs like a tiny engine. 🤗🐾💗
She is very Independent and is very happy doing her own thing, but equally happy with other cats or respectful dogs. 🐱🐶🤝
Buttercup LOVES her meals and will happily remind you when it’s dinner time. 🍽️⏰
This gentle beauty will thrive in almost any home — and whoever welcomes her in will feel truly privileged. 🌟
Ready to meet Buttercup? Reach out to arrange a meet-and-greet and let this little ray of sunshine light up your life. 🌞🌼
Medical notes
She cannot be vaccinated in the future, Buttercup has vaccination sensitivity

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
