Toadstool

*In foster care in Westmead, Sydney*

With a flick of his tail, Toadstool is the first to come running when you come in. He impatiently weaves around your legs, pressing up against you while you settle in. When you finally sit down, he attentively listens to your day - amber eyes locked in and paws working double time at the bakery. If you're not ready to settle, that's okay too! He will follow you around, headbutting you and waiting until you are ready for him to jump into your lap.

Whilst in cuddle mode, Toad is a motor engine. You can hear him across the room! He will accept any form of cuddles, but likes a gentle chest rub before you start with the head scratches. He contorts into different shapes, and often accidentally will topple off of you before scrambling to get back into your lap.

Toadstool is still a playful kitten at heart and enjoys running around. He'd enjoy having another cat around but doesn't think it's a must as long as someone is home to play with him. If you are looking for a pair, however, his brother Fiddle Leaf is also up for adoption and they get up to good mischief together! Toad loves his scratcher, and wand but his favourite toy is inbuilt. He can spend minutes at a stretch chasing his own tail, going in circles and batting it around.

Toad's an affectionate boy at heart, and is quick to offer a sniff and headbutt before going for a feed, having a play and then coming back to base (that could be you!) and flopping down.

Like all Maggie’s pets, Toadstool is microchipped, desexed, and vaccinated.

MY IDEAL HOME: ... is somewhere where I can be part of the action! I like to be in the loop and involved with what's happening. A warm lap, lots of toys and maybe a cat friend would be pretty perfect.

MY ENERGY LEVEL: Kitten! I love to play but also love to come back for lots of little snoozes before my tail gets me going again.

MY SUITABILITY TO CHILDREN: I haven't met any children but think I would do well with gentle hands.

MY SUITABILITY TO CATS AND DOGS: I'd be pretty chill with a cat - I hang out with my brother Fiddle Leaf all the time!
