About Sasha - 4 Year Old American Staffy
Meet Sasha ❤️
If you're looking for a dog with an enormous heart and enough love to fill an entire house, look no further than Sasha.
This beautiful American Staffy is a big girl with an even bigger personality. Don't be fooled by her size though, Sasha is incredibly sweet and a total softie! She absolutely adores people and forms strong bonds with her humans. Affectionate, loyal, and happiest by your side, she's the kind of dog who thinks cuddles are a full time job.
Whether it's relaxing on the couch, following you from room to room, or simply spending time with her favourite humans, Sasha is happiest when she's part of the family.
Sasha is a homebody at heart and would much rather spend her afternoons relaxing in a calm, loving home than chasing adventures. She's comfortable spending some time on her own and she would truly thrive with someone who can offer companionship, affection, and a relaxed lifestyle.
Sasha enjoys getting out for walks, particularly in quieter areas. Unfortunately for this sweet girl, her prior experiences with other dogs haven't always been positive, and she can be reactive when she encounters them. Because of this, Sasha is looking for a confident and physically capable owner who can safely manage and advocate for her while out and about.
Despite this challenge, Sasha's love for people shines through in everything she does. She's gentle and affectionate with children and would make a wonderful family companion for a home with kids aged 5 years and over.
What Sasha is looking for in her forever home:
🐾 Only pet - she'd like all the love to herself
🐾 Secure fencing (minimum 1.5m)
🐾 A calm, loving home environment
🐾 Children aged 5+
🐾 Someone confident handling strong breeds
🐾 Plenty of cuddles and treats (her two favourite things!)
Sasha is proof that great dogs come in big packages. She's sweet, loving, family oriented, and ready to find a home that sees just how special she is.

Dog reactivity is only one small part of Sasha's story. Her love for people, especially children, is what she'd really like you to know about. 🐾
She is in care in Newcastle area, NSW and is available for adoption interstate. Her adoption fee is $400 and she is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
