About Chester
Chester arrived at the Shelter recently with his three siblings, looking to begin a new life. There is a story behind this little litter of kittens but suffice to say that Chester’s kitten learning skills were quite disadvantaged. This resulted in a fear of humans, however we are overcoming this by — sitting in with him; talking and patting him; encouraging him to play with toys; and tiny bits of the very addictive creamy treat product — and we are winning the war over his fear. His “bonding currency” is the wand toy and he turns into a big gladiator who must overpower the toy at any cost. Chester is a very handsome lad with a short fur coat that is mainly white with some tabby-ginger patches. Please read on for important care guidelines:-
A balanced diet of high-quality wet and dry food plus ample fresh, cool water. Indoor lifestyle only, enriched with snuggles, toys and games. Best suited to a quiet, calm household free from loud noises and confusion. Friends would be gentle adults and older, cat-savvy children. It’s unknown if he has lived with other furry pets. Providing a temporary “launch room” would be a great idea, as Chester may be overwhelmed. Regular visits to the vet would be beneficial.
