About Dave & Dora
Meet Dave and Dora,
Dave is a uniquely charming cat with a heart as big as his playful spirit. Dave is the epitome of confidence mixed with a snuggly disposition, making him an absolute joy to be around. His gentle yet playful nature ensures he fits seamlessly into a loving environment, and he relishes every moment of human interaction.
One look at Dave reveals that he’s a stunningly sleek, all-black cat, although in certain lighting, his coat takes on a lovely brown hue. With Dave, you gain not only a sweet, friendly companion who delights in being handled, but also a cat who is utterly unflappable, you could quite literally do anything to him without so much as a displeased whisker twitch in response.
Dave is bonded with his sister, Dora. As a bonded pair, they bring double the love and laughter into their new home. They epitomize what furry friendship means and complement each other's personalities.
And for Dora, Dora is the epitome of feline elegance! This stunning medium-haired fluff ball is a joy to behold with her gentle demeanor and captivating presence. Though initially timid, Dora's reserved nature gives way to a devoted and affectionate companion once she grows accustomed to your presence.
Dora simply adores showering her human friends with endless love and attention, and her loud, contented purrs are a testament to her happiness and sense of security in loving company. Dora thrives on building bonds and relishing the moments of closeness.
If you're ready to provide a warm, loving home where Dora and her brother Dave can continue to nurture their unique bond while sharing all their love with you, this affectionate duo could be the perfect addition to your life.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
