Interaction with adults: Very good, friendly & easily warms up to new people
Interaction with other dogs: yes, is shy around them but happy to approach

Best in a home with other animals? she would suit both a single and other dog household, she would like company of her family or a playmate. Both would be wonderful for her.

Energy level: Medium

Confidence level: Shy / Cautious out of the house, confident inside the house and around new people who enter the home.

General personality: Rosie is a sweet loving puppy, who is cuddly, observant and smart. She has quickly learnt treat games & how to play fetch.

TRAINING & SKILLS
Housetrained: In progress, has only had a few accidents in the house since being in foster care.
Cratetrained: In progress, doing very well at sleeping through the night and keeping the bed dry.

Walks well on lead: Yes
Commands known: Sits and responds to her name
Behaviour on walks (pulling, reactivity, confidence): she is cautious and hasn’t mastered walking in a straight line, but not hesitant to greet new people or new dogs! Loud sounds like trams and trucks spook her and she needs carrying for a minute until she’s back on her feet! She has come very far in only a week since being put on a lead.

Behaviour in the car: nervous in the car likes to crawl into a ball, only been taken on short trips.

LIFESTYLE & ROUTINE
Favourite activities: playing fetch and spinning the treat wheel!
Favourite treats/toys: fluffy toys or anything that squeaks!
Daily routine in your home: wakes up full of energy and ready for a walk, has breakfast and then a long nap. Loves to play fetch and zoom around the backyard.
Sleeping habits (where they sleep, settle easily?): she settles very easily, at night in her crate, during the day when home alone in her fluffy bed in the couch, on the couch or bed if there’s someone else lying there. After her evening walk she has the zoomies and eats dinner - loves to play until she settles down when put her in her crate before the adults go to bed.

Special quirks or adorable behaviours: loves following you wherever you are! Even if there’s food or treats in her bowl she will follow you into the next room to check out what you are doing. She is in her teething stage so loves chewing your hand, arm and the couch! We have been teaching her to chew her toys instead. As soon as she latches onto our hand we switch it to a toy or her treat ball.

Best suited home type:
Rosie warms up to an environment and new people super well. She is best suited to an active home where she can be given the love and long walks she deserves, whilst noting she is still a puppy so loves to chew and play bite.

She loves to snuggle and will fall asleep in your arm during belly scratch time. She doesn’t do well with being lonely so best suited to a household where someone in working from home part time / home often or she has another pet to hangout with.
