About Nala
Beautiful young Border Collie Nala is looking for a human to call her own.
This sweet little girl though a little shy to start with is a gentle, loving affectionate snuggle bug and loves to be close to her people. You can be gone 5 minutes or 5 hours and she is always happy to see you.
Nala is living with 4 other dogs in foster care and gets along well with all of them, she is also living with a cat that she pays no attention to.
Nala loves her daily walks and walks well on lead. She is crate trained and sleeps soundly all night. Nala can sit and drop and has good recall when off lead, but being young would benefit from continued obedience training.
Nala is looking for a home with another gentle dog or a home where someone is home more often than not. If you think you could be Nala’s forever human, apply now!

Medical notes
Nala has been diagnosed with elbow displaysia, particularly in her front left leg. There is no corrective surgery options for this, and the vet has advised she will do well with management. This means limiting her off lead exercise when she has a flare up, managing her jumping etc. Crate rest and anti-inflammatories can be used for a few days to return her to her baseline comfort level when she has a flare up.
The vet advised she should live a normal and happy pet life, but it may require more management in to her senior years and with onset of arthritis etc. Daily joint supplements should also help Nala remain comfortable.

You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
