About Buddy - 5 Year Old Beagle
Beautiful Buddy is a total shadow who attaches deeply to her humans. She would happily spend all day next to you on the sofa, cuddling. She’s the perfect work from home buddy. A family environment with her people to help with pats would be great - or someone who keeps a quiet lifestyle allowing her to be the centre of attention and then she can spoil you in return with love.
Buddy would be best suited to someone who is experienced with beagles, a family with another Beagle in need of a new playmate would be ideal.
Sunbaking in the yard all day is her happy place. Buddy will need enrichment and a secure yard to keep her safe. She is not suitable for apartment living.
This gorgeous girl is an inside dog, she is fully toilet trained and needs to be inside with her people. Buddy sleeps on her own bed where she can see her person.
Buddy loves her walks, as she is strong she needs a handler able to cope with ‘anything’ on her walks. She does well with 2 (sometimes 3) 30min walks a day, to keep her nose happy. She is very eager to please and is doing well with her training. Buddy is learning not to be reactive to other dogs - so would need a slow introduction to any new mates - but LOVES other Beagles.
We recommend Kids over 10, as she does show love by jumping up on you, she is learning not to.
She is currently thriving on a low allergen fresh food diet in her forever home.

Buddy is in foster care in New Lambton, NSW, and is not available for adoption interstate. Her adoption fee is $500, and she is desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and intestinal worms.

Adoption details
(1) The first step is to fill in our online Adoption Questionnaire:

(2) If the questionnaire is approved, we will arrange a property check so we
can verify that your home and yard are suitable for the pet you've applied for.
(3) Next, we will arrange for you to meet the pet, usually at the foster
carer's home or at a nearby park.
(4) If both sides agree, then you can pay the adoption fee*, sign the NSW change of ownership form and our DRN Adoption Agreement and take your new family member home! The two week trial period begins on the day of adoption.
*We prefer payment by funds transfer and don't accept cash or personal
cheques.
