About Mabel
Meet Mabel, a sweet senior girl looking for a loving, calm home where she can enjoy her days at her own pace. Mabel is an independent girl who is happy to potter about and enjoy her own company, but when she's ready, she may seek out her people for some affection and gentle attention.
Mabel would thrive in a peaceful adult home where she can enjoy the quieter things in life. She may also suit respectful, cat-savvy teenagers who understand when to give her space. While she doesn't particularly enjoy being picked up, she does appreciate affection when she chooses.
Mabel would likely be happiest as the only pet in the home, where she can feel safe, settled and enjoy life on her own terms. As a senior girl, Mabel does have some medical needs that her new family will need to be prepared to manage. She's a lovely lady who deserves a peaceful place to call home, with someone who will appreciate her gentle nature and let her personality shine in her own time.
Adoption details
Our adoption process is designed to match you with the right pet, the first time. Our team are experts at rehoming animals who have specific needs that match your lifestyle, to ensure every adoption placement will last a lifetime.
At our Peninsula site, adoption hours are 12pm – 4pm. You are welcome to attend our reception office without an appointment to begin our adoption process during adoption hours.
The adoption areas are not free to walk through, and you will need to chat with our staff to confirm that a potential adoption is a good match.
Once the adoption has been discussed, a staff member will facilitate a walk-through of the adoption areas or have an animal brought to you in a greeting area.
