Meet Zeus, a lovable canine who truly embodies the gentle giant persona. Known for being the biggest cuddly bear in the shelter, Zeus is in search of a new family who can offer him the love and attention he wholeheartedly deserves. This calm and sweet-tempered boy has made quite an impression on everyone he meets, melting hearts with his affectionate nature and genuine love for human interaction.
Zeus has been through his fair share of adventures, having been discovered wandering alongside a highway. Since arriving at the shelter, he's come out of his shell and developed a reputation for loving pats and cuddles. Zeus was even the model student for TAFE demonstrations on HR, temperature reading, and respiration rates, where he charmed everyone with his well-behaved demeanor.
Life hasn't always been easy on Zeus, with his past involving long days in a backyard with minimal human contact. Despite this, he remains gentle-hearted and eager for human companionship. Zeus is looking for a patient and caring family who understands the importance of training and confidence-building as he discovers the joys of playtime and toys. He already knows how to walk on a lead and is excited by his growing interactions with other dogs at the shelter.
Zeus has a clean bill of health after being treated for fleas and worms. Luckily, he has no special dietary requirements and arrived at the shelter in good condition. He hopes for a home with a stable environment, where he can feel safe and loved. For those seeking a loyal companion who is ready to share his big heart and even bigger cuddles, Zeus is eagerly waiting to meet you!

Monday to Friday: 9:00am - 3:30pm
If you already have a dog and wish to adopt another one, you will be required to visit the facility with your dog for a 'Meet and Greet' to ensure that they are compatible; appointments are essential.
All of our dogs come desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, vet-checked and lifetime registered in NSW which is included in the adoption fee. All cats come desexed, microchipped, vet-checked and lifetime registered in NSW.
It's important to note that we do not desex our animals until they are adopted. To avoid disappointment please be aware that you may not be able to take your dog/cat home the day you meet them, and we are at the mercy of the vet's schedule.
