About Darylene
Meet Darylene š¾
Darylene is an 8-month-old black-and-white charmer with a personality as striking as his coat. This young gentleman has a soft side that shines through when he chooses-he's affectionate, loving, and enjoys a good cuddle... on his terms, of course.
He's the kind of kitty who values his independence, but when he decides it's time for attention, you're in for something special-whether it's a gentle head nudge, a cozy sit beside you, or a quiet moment of companionship.
Curious, playful, and just a little bit mysterious, Darylene is still discovering the world around him. With the right balance of space and affection, he blossoms into a deeply loyal and endearing companion.
If you're looking for a cat with both charm and character, Darylene is ready to make himself at home-with you, when he's ready. š
To book a meet and greet with Darylene, please contact the BARC team by phone or email: 03 5441 2209, barcreception@bendigo.vic.gov.au
Due to the high volume of emails received, inquiries requesting a specific appointment, and including phone contact details, will receive a prioritised response over generic applications to meet an animal.

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
