About Rivet
Rivet is an energetic young dog with a huge zest for life and an eagerness to learn everything the world has to offer. He’s a fast learner who genuinely wants to please his people.
He is friendly with other dogs, however is still learning appropriate boundaries and social manners with both animals and people so would do well with someone who can show him the way through life.
He is crate trained, will patiently wait for his food, and is currently working hard on walking nicely on lead and improving his recall skills. Rivet also doesn’t quite understand toys yet or how to play with them, but he is curious and eager to learn.
Rivet would thrive with an owner who has patience, consistency, and a willingness to continue teaching him — something he is genuinely excited about. He would do well in a home with a decent yard or on property as long as he receives proper mental and physical stimulation. Rivet would love a doggy friend to play with, but if you don’t already have a furry friend at home, he would be just as happy with you!
With the right guidance, Rivet is going to make an incredibly loyal, fun, and loving companion who is up for anything.

Adoption details
To apply to adopt a dog from Dogs4Jobs, you must firstly complete our adoptions application form in full at https://dogs4jobs.com.au/adoption-process-forms/.
You can also write out your answers and email them to dogs@dogs4jobs.com.au
*Please note, due to the high volume of applications received, we will not respond to Petrescue chat messages, or enquiries to adopt a dog. You must complete our adoptions form to be considered for the dog or pup, and we will respond to this form via our email.
We will then request to complete a yard check, or for you to send in photos of your yard showing the fencing, space, shelter and any hazards etc, to confirm it is safe and secure, as well as adequate space for a working breed dog.
Following this, we will then put you in touch with the dog/s foster carer/s that you are interested in, to chat further over the phone, about whether the dog is a good fit for your family, and vice versa. We are searching for the perfect match for each dog and their needs. We offer interstate adoption on all of our dogs.
