Hello, my name Max!
I love, love, love people! I am eager to please, but my foster Mum says I’m not the smartest, so I might take a while to learns things. I love to play and wrestle with other dogs, and also with my toys! I’m good with cats and respect their boundaries.
I always want to be where my people are, whether watching them hang washing or sleeping near them while they work on the computer. I travel well in the car and love to explore, but I’m not good at coming to my name yet.
I’m young and excitable, and I can be a bit unaware of people’s space, so I may not be a good match for young children. I can be a little destructive if I don’t get exercise, so I need a lot of walks!
I am crate trained, and generally pretty quiet when left outside as long as I have a friend to play with. I’m still learning to walk well on a leash, so my new person will need to keep training me patiently."

Adoption details
Please note- we do not work on a first in best dressed basis. We assess all applications to choose the home that we believe will best match the animals needs.
If you believe one of our animals would be a good match for your home, please send us a detailed email with some information about the people and any other animals in your home, as well as the type of lifestyle you can offer a new rescue pet.
We are volunteers who run the rescue around families, paid employment and other commitments so your patience is appreciated.
We do require you to travel to meet the animal you are looking to adopt. For dog adoptions, any other dogs in your home must attend the meet and greet, this enables us to assess their compatibility and helps prevent them being returned and creating more confusion/insecurities for the foster animal.
We reserve the right to refuse the adoption if we don't believe it's a good match for our animals.
All our animals are available for a fully refundable 2 week trial period. If you ever find yourself unable to care for, or keep your pet, please contact us and they will come back into our care, or we will do our best to assist you in finding them a suitable new home, this is a condition thst you agree to when signing our Adoption Agreement.
