Bubbles

Bubbles is a loving 2-year-old mum cat who is ready to leave her stressful past behind and find a calm, understanding home where she can truly relax and blossom.

After raising her kittens and watching them all find homes of their own, Bubbles spent five long months at the rehoming centre. Unfortunately, shelter life proved overwhelming for this gentle girl, with too many unfamiliar people, noises, and changes for her sensitive nature to cope with comfortably.

Now thriving in foster care, Bubbles is finally beginning to show her beautiful personality. She adores affection and will happily bunny-hop into your hand for pats or melt beside you for endless butt scratches — one of her absolute favourite things! She loves simply being near her people and makes a wonderful study or work companion, quietly sitting nearby for company. While she can still be cautious around strangers, Bubbles is making steady progress every day and has recently decided that laps are actually pretty wonderful places to be.

Bubbles would love a smaller, quiet household with children over 12 where she can continue building her confidence at her own pace. She can become overwhelmed by loud noises and lots of activity, so a calm environment will help her feel safe and secure.

While she hasn’t had a formal introduction to the resident cats in foster care, Bubbles seems quite unfazed by their presence and may do well with a calm feline companion. That said, she would also be perfectly happy soaking up all the love and attention as someone’s devoted human best friend.
