About Zach - 5 Year Old Jack Russell Terrier
Gorgeous boy Zach the Jack Russell has the sweetest puppy dog eyes with an even sweeter nature. At approximately five years old, Zach is the perfect mix of playful and affectionate, he is always happy to head out for a walk, play games or curl up beside you on the couch for snuggles.
He has medium to high energy, and his favourite things are the outdoors, food and being close to his people. Zach responds well to basic commands like “sit,” he is working on his recall and getting to know his name. He will need a home that has time to continue his training and is able to provide him with enriching activities to help build his confidence and enhance his life as he’s a smart dog who’s eager to please.
This beautiful boy is very dog friendly and curious with cats but will leave them alone when asked. He has a gentle temperament. Zach has met children and been gentle and calm but as he is not living with any, we would recommend kids over 8. And a home without pocket pets.
Zach’s ideal home would living with another small dog and where someone is around most of the time, as he doesn’t enjoy being left alone. He would thrive with a family, couple or individual who works from home or simply enjoys having a loyal companion by their side throughout the day. Zach loves to be wherever you are and would happily snuggle up in your bed at night if allowed. He is an inside dog and must be allowed inside whenever he wants and to sleep inside.
Everyone who meets him falls in love with little Zach he’ll steal your heart.
Zach is currently in foster care in Cardiff, Newcastle, NSW. He is available for adoption within New South Wales and the ACT (no flights) His adoption fee is $700. He is desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, treated for fleas and intestinal worms and will be lifetime registered.
