Hello, I’m Jadzia!

I’m a beautiful 5-year-old black girl with soft ears and an even softer heart. I am named after Deep Space Nine’s Chief Science Officer, which feels very fitting, as I’m an expert in the science of pats, affection, and being a very good girl.

I’m a very gentle girl who enjoys being around people and sharing a little closeness. I have a sweet, friendly nature, and I’m the sort of dog who brings a lovely sense of warmth wherever she goes. But I’m not all quiet dignity! I’ve also got a playful side that comes out when I get the chance to goof around and play in the gardens. It’s a very nice balance, if I do say so myself: gentle sweetheart by nature, playful girl when the moment is right.

I’m also lovely with other dogs, big and small. Even though I’m still learning, I respond beautifully to their cues, which makes me a very easy and pleasant companion. I’m the sort of girl who seems to understand how to keep things calm, friendly, and comfortable for everyone.

I think I’d be a perfect match for anyone looking for a kind-hearted, affectionate, easy-going girl with a playful streak and an impressive academic background in cuddles. I’d also be very happy in a home with children over 5.

All hounds are desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea and worm (including heartworm) treated. The adoption fee includes our Adopter Kit containing a martingale collar, leash, muzzle and useful information to help you get your new hound settled in.
