Grizzy 🐶 GSD x Rottweiler (On Trial 30/5/26)

Grizzy is a lovable, 9-month-old, German Shepherd x Rottweiler with a fluffy coat, a gentle nature and a joyful personality to match his impressive size. This happy, affectionate boy thrives on being around people and loves to be part of whatever’s going on.

⚽Grizzy enjoys running, exploring, and—one of his absolute favourites—splashing around in the water. He’s very social with other dogs and especially loves a good romp with his canine companions. When he’s not playing with doggy friends, Grizzy is content to entertain himself by exploring the yard, inventing games, or tossing his toys around.

Grizzy is wonderful with dog-savvy, older kids, though supervision is recommended during play as he can get excited and occasionally forget how big he is. He’s a clever boy with a great foundation in training—he already knows sit, stay, wait, and shake. He walks well on a lead, confidently uses a doggy door, and is nearly fully house-trained (just needs the occasional reminder).

Grizzy is happiest when he’s included in everyday life, both indoors and out.

🐾 Playmates welcome
He’d love a similarly sized, playful canine companion, though he could also thrive as an only dog with plenty of human interaction. If his humans are away full-time, another dog is essential for company.

🐾 Ongoing training
With his intelligence and eagerness to learn, Grizzy will flourish with continued positive reinforcement. Support from a qualified trainer is available to help him succeed.

🐾 Exercise and adventure
Daily walks, playtime, and mental enrichment are a must.

🐾 Indoor access
He enjoys being part of the household, is well-mannered inside, happily sleeps on his own bed at night and is well on his way to being fully house-trained.

🐶 Grizzy is in foster care in Dudley, NSW (Lake Macquarie, near Charlestown). He is available for adoption to NSW and ACT. His adoption fee is $600 and he is desexed, vaccinated, treated for fleas and worms, and microchipped.
