Vet suspects Manx Syndrome
*prognosis for surgical or medical correction is poor. Most cases are managed supportively.
Likely congenital spinal cord malformation associated with Manxism. Lifelong management required: Careful monitoring for urinary/faecal continence issues. Prevent trauma due to poor hindlimb coordination. Maintain lean body condition to reduce mechanical strain. Consider physiotherapy/hydrotherapy for mobility support. Regular rechecks to monitor progression.

Online adoption application.
Rescue administration member will contact Applicant via Email/Phone to organise meet and greet specifics.
Post meet and greet, if successful for adoption Rescue administration member will contact Applicant via Email/Phone with offer of Adoption.
Post adoption handover to successful applicant will commence 14-day adoption trial period. At the end of this trial period Rescue administration member will email the finalised documentation (adoption certificate, vet work certificates and microchip change of ownership form/information for action by applicant).
