Meet Duck Duck.🦆🦆
From frightened to flourishing, Duck Duck is ready for home. 🧡
He nearly ran out of time… now he’s ready to steal your heart. 💛
When you look into his eyes, it’s hard to miss the sadness and fear he once carried. 💔 Duck Duck was rescued just in time, with only a few days left to live. Once he found a safe, loving home, he blossomed – he felt secure, relaxed, and his true personality shone through. Now he’s the most amazing, beautiful boy, and we’re so grateful we stepped in when we did. ✨
Duck Duck is a confident, fun little guy with so much love to give. Gentle and affectionate, he’s learning to be a total snuggle bug. 🐱💕
He’s also the biggest foodie and will happily demolish anything in sight. 🍗 While he might be a little shy at first, don’t be fooled – a tasty treat will have him out of his shell in no time. 😺
With his fluffy tail and dazzling eyes, this little gentleman is sure to steal your heart. 💘 Duck Duck adores pats and play and will settle in as your best friend before you know it. 🎀

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
Adoption fees:
-Kittens: $350
-Cats 1 - 3 Years: $275
-Cats 3 Years+: $200
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
