My Ideal Home:
• Familiarity and understanding of my breed traits would be highly valued.
• I’ll need daily exercise — walks, park or beach trips, and playtime in the backyard will keep me happy and healthy.
• Ongoing training and guidance with basic manners will help me grow into a well-behaved companion.
• I want to be part of the family indoors — not left outside without interaction.
• As a social and playful pup, I may really enjoy attending doggy daycare.
• Secure fencing (6ft Colorbond or equivalent) is essential to keep me safe.
• I’d love plenty of toys and mental enrichment to keep my busy mind occupied.
• A good-quality dry food diet will help support my dental health.
• Regular grooming and brushing will keep me looking and feeling my best.
• Most importantly, I’m looking for lots of love and attention from my family.
• I’m still a puppy, which means I will chew, nip, have accidents, bark, and sometimes be a little destructive. With patience, consistency, and training, I’ll learn — but I need a family fully committed to putting in the time and effort to help me succeed.
• I’d love a friendly dog playmate — or, if I’m your only dog, regular opportunities to socialise with other dogs. I can become scared of bigger dogs that are very exuberant and full on so another dog similar size to me or a bigger dog that is calm & respectful would be ideal.
• With a slow and thoughtful introduction, I may be able to live with a dog friendly cat.


My Paw-some Perks:
• I’m a very playful, happy pup with the cutest little wiggle-butt when I’m excited.
• I’m food motivated, which makes training lots of fun and helps me learn quickly.
• I walk nicely on lead for a young dog, and with daily walks I’ll only keep improving.
• I am housetrained and am used to being allowed indoors as part of the family.
• I’m very social and happy to hang out with other friendly dogs — total social butterfly!
• I absolutely love attention, cuddles, hugs, kisses and head scratches, and I’m quite partial to snoozing on the couch with my humans.
• I LOVE toys — especially my ball & squeaky toys
• I’m exuberant and full of beans, always ready for fun and adventure.
• Being a Poodle I am extremely clever, enthusiastic, and would thrive with a family who’ll continue my training and maybe even teach me some cool new tricks.

Training & Support Needs:
• I can feel anxious when left alone in the backyard and may become vocal, barking or whining. A home where I can spend plenty of time indoors, have lots of company, and be provided with enrichment toys or treats when alone would suit me best.


Please Note: You’ll only be able to meet Teddy if your application is approved. Successful applicants will be invited to the shelter for a meet-and-greet, and any dogs currently in the home must attend as well
