Introducing Tips & M A!
M A (pronounced Emmay) & Tips are Domestic Medium Hairs born 3rd March 2025.
These gorgeous girls & their brother were brought into us from a cat hoarding situation in our local area. While their brother appears to be OK being by himself, these two are joined at the hip & they will be rehomed as a bonded pair.
When they first arrived at the facility both girls were obviously a little shy after being removed from their home & all the other cats they resided with, however it hasn't taken them long to settle into their new environment. While they can be a little shy, they're both incredibly sweet girls who love human affection. Tips & M A are little purr machines and love cheeck & back scratches.
We don't believe they've ever had toys before so they're not overly playful at this stage, but what they lack in playfulness they gain in adorable snuggles.
As they have come from a cat hoarding home, they are used to the company of other cats. While we've only briefly seen them come face to face with other cats at the facility, they were non-reactive when hissed & swiped at by one of our other cats. We believe they could be suitable to live with other cats or be the spoilt only kids at home.
While their confidence has come a long way since being with us, we don't believe they've had much interaction with young children. Given their slightly shy nature we feel that young children may be too overwhelming for them. With this in mind, we believe they'd be more comfortable in a home with children over 12 years.
They will be rehomed to a family who will keep them as inside cats only.
Both girls are litter trained and would make a wonderful addition to most families.

Their adoption fee is $400 & this includes their desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. They are also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Tips & M A are currently located in East Maitland.

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
