Meet Nala — a lovely, gentle girl with the intelligence and loyalty of the Blue Cattle Dog wrapped in a calm, placid and affectionate package.
While many cattle dog mixes are full-on, high-drive dogs, Nala is much more relaxed in nature. She’s the sort of dog who enjoys being involved in daily life without needing to be constantly on the go. Sweet, soft-natured and quietly affectionate, she’s a delight to have around.
Nala is house-trained, dog friendly and cat friendly, making her an easy companion for many homes. She enjoys a play and a wander around the yard, but she’s equally happy simply hanging out near her people.
And just quietly — with her gorgeous double mask and the little spot on top of her head, we’re fairly sure she’s been kissed by an angel.
She’s looking for a loving home that will continue her training and include her as part of the family. With her lovely temperament and eager-to-please nature, Nala has all the makings of a devoted lifelong companion.

Nala is offered for adoption under the terms of our Deferred Desexing Program. Her adoption fee covers the cost of desexing when age appropriate, subject to terms and conditions.

Adoption details
Dogs:
(1) The first step is to complete the online adoption application form at https://southerndownsark.com.au/apply-to-adopt/ Please answer all questions and include photos of your yard and fencing.
(2) All applications will be considered by our Adoption Team, following which a "meet and greet" will be offered to the top-ranking applicant.
(3) If the “meet and greet" is successful, the applicant may adopt the dog and take him or her home the same day.
(4) For successful interstate applicants, different arrangements may apply and will be negotiated on a case-by-case basis.
Cats:
If you are interested in one of our cats or kittens, please click on the green "Enquire about ...", button, tell us a bit about yourself and the home you can offer the cat, and one of our volunteers will be in touch.
