Maizzy is everything you’d hope for in a young family dog — affectionate, clever, playful and happiest when she’s close to her people.
Born on 10 December 2025, Maizzy has blossomed into a lovely family companion. Her foster family says she has changed enormously since coming into care and is now simply a happy, playful youngster who adores people. Her favourite place is on your lap, where she’ll gently rest her head against you before drifting off to sleep.
Maizzy is house-trained, crate-trained, sits on command and is eager to learn. She lives happily with other dogs, is fine with the resident cat and has become a much-loved companion to her foster family’s four children, aged from 7 to 17 years. She has all the makings of a wonderful family dog.
Like most Cattle Dog mixes, Maizzy is intelligent and enjoys having both her mind and body engaged. She will thrive in a home that provides routine, guidance, daily exercise and opportunities to continue her training. She is not looking for a backyard-only life — she wants to be included, loved and treated as part of the family.
