About Snowey
Snowey is a friendly, affectionate, easy going little girl. On the offchance that she doesn't like something (and it's not often - so far the vacuum cleaner seems to be the main dislike!), she'll just take herself off into the wardrobe and hang there until it passes.
She can be a bit shy with new people but once she knows you, if you pick her up and cuddle her she'll purr like a steam train. She can be cheeky and playful and has completely charmed the resident cat. He was bit put out when she first arrived, but in no time she had him following her around like an adoring fan.
She's great with the resident kid as well and lets him pick her up and carry her around.
She's a real cuddler, and her ideal place to sleep at night is on your head. She likes to get all the attention.
She has a quirky little meow that makes her sound like a pack a day smoker. Probably a left over of her street cat origins. She's a plant chewer, which is probably also a left over of those days.
As long as the home she goes to will give her plenty of attention she will be happy!

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
