About Bottles, the greyhound

Bottles is a happy, affectionate boy with a heart as big as his signature lean. He’s the kind of dog who greets life with a wag, loves being close to his humans, and will happily melt into you for cuddles, pats, and his absolute favourite... a good butt scratch (complete with an adorable little back leg dance).
He’s a wonderfully approachable boy with a friendly nature and would suit either a house or an apartment, provided his family can continue helping him build confidence with stairs, especially the trickier ones with gaps.
Bottles is currently living with another greyhound and enjoys canine company, so he’d happily share his home with another dog. That said, he could also thrive as a solo dog soaking up all the love and attention for himself.
He loves being around his people but also settles beautifully when left alone when needed. He’s already spent up to 5.5 hours home alone, during which he mostly snoozed the day away like the professional greyhound he is.
On walks, Bottles is an absolute delight. He walks beautifully on lead, right by your side, matching your pace and making outings easy and enjoyable. From his street interactions, he has shown positive interest in smaller dogs and other breeds, with careful introductions of course.
Because Bottles can get a little excited when he’s having fun, a home with dog-savvy children aged 10+ would be the best fit.
He’s still learning a few life skills, including mastering stairs and picking up new commands, but he approaches life with such a lovely attitude that he’ll be a joy to continue teaching.
If you’re looking for a sweet, affectionate, easygoing companion who doubles as a professional cuddle enthusiast, Bottles may just be your perfect match.

Adoption details
The adoption fee is $395 and includes desexing, C5 vaccination, muzzle and lifetime registration in NSW.
Once we found a potential match, the following will happen:
- Phone chat with one of the HBH coordinators
- Phone chat with the foster carer
- Meet and Greet with the foster carer and the dog
- Setting up your personal support group through FB messenger or Whatsapp with Foster Carer and HBH coordinators
- House visit (virtual or in person)
- Paperwork and Adoption fee to be returned to HBH
- Trial start (2 weeks)
- Final adoption!
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
