About Pickle
Hey, I am Pickle a fluffy black and white delight, and I got my name as I ended up in a bit of a pickle... and I may be a little dramatic (okay, a lot).
My story started outside a chemist in Browns Plains when I was just two weeks old, using my very impressive lungs to scream for assistance. I was tiny, underweight, very ready for help and more importantly... the bottle. For two whole weeks, every feed was a full performance. My legs flailed, my enthusiasm was unmatched, and getting the bottle into my mouth was a challenge. But once it was in? Gone in under 10 seconds. Hoover mode activated. That is how I earned the nickname “Drama Llama”... and honestly, it still fits.
Not much has changed since then. I still love my food and will happily announce mealtimes (and pre-mealtimes… and “it might be mealtime soon” times) at full volume so you don’t forget I exist. You’re welcome.
But I’m not all noise, I have got a lovely little purr that switches on the second you start patting me. Being bottle fed means I’m super affectionate and people-focused, and I am always happy to soak up attention when it’s on offer.
I also love a good play session. Laser pointers? Incredible. Feather wands? Even better. While I’m a bit more laid back than my adopted brother Pumpkin, I still have my moments - especially when I get the zoomies and start drifting across the floors like a tiny race car… occasionally bowling over a smaller kitten in the process. It’s not my fault, I simply cannot control the speed.
So if you are looking for a sweet, slightly chaotic, very vocal little companion who will keep you entertained, well-fed (reminders included), and thoroughly loved, pick the Pickle - I am kind of a big dill.
All Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens come to you vet checked, desexed, vaccinated, microchipped, wormed, flea treated, and litter trained. As we are a rescue group, the adoption fee is not negotiable. Little Paws Kitten Rescue cats and kittens are indoor or cat enclosure only and must go to homes that intend them to stay that way. This is for their safety, the health of the cat or kitten and for the environment. It is our foster carer’s choice as to which home a cat or kitten goes to. We match the cats and kittens to the adoptee; we do not necessarily “sell” to the first caller. As our foster carers are all volunteers raising the cats and kittens in their own home, we would appreciate you letting them know if you cannot make an appointment.
