About Fireball
Introducing Fireball!
Fireball is a Bengal born 1st November 2019.
Fireball was brought into the facility as a stray after causing some mischief out in the community. When we spoke to his owners they said they were unable to give him the life he deserved & decided to surrender him for rehoming.
His surrender profile states he has lived with another Bengal who he loved but sadly lost, he lives with & gets along with large dogs. He loves children & is friendly with adult strangers. He travels well in the car & is litter trained.
Since being at the facility Fireball has been an absolutely beautiful boy. He's very affectionate, inquisitive & confident. He knows how handsome he is and isn't above using his looks to get what he wants.
While Fireball (and Bengals in general) are gorgeous cats, they are an intelligent and curious breed who need constant stimulation to keep their brains engaged. They need to have lots of things to do.. and climb. Bengals aren't like your typical house cat & Fireball will be rehomed to a family who is experienced with the breed.
We haven't been able to fully test Fireball with other cats at the facility as our exisiting cats don't play well with others, however is always non-reactive when our girls hiss at him. We believe Fireball could be suited to live with another cat, if given a slow & controlled introduction to them.
Fireball has very high prey drive, so he will need to be in a home with no pocket pets/small animals like rabbits, guinea pigs, chickens etc. Given this, Fireball will be rehomed to a family who will keep him as an inside cat only, preferably with access to a secure outdoor cat run.

His adoption fee is $350 & this includes his desexing, vaccination and lifetime registration. He is also regularly treated for fleas and worms.
Fireball is currently located in East Maitland.

If you are interested in adopting one of our animals, please contact us on 0499 900 272.
Staff will ask more about your lifestyle and the information you provide will helps us to achieve the best match between the dog or cat and their new home. We will also have certain adoption requirements that have to be approved prior to meeting the animal (eg fencing requirements, no young kids, etc)
Once all of your questions have been answered and adoption requirements met and approved, its time to meet your potential new furbaby. This meet will be conducted at the shelter in the Hunter Valley.
Should you have an existing dog in your life, we will require a meet and greet to ensure that they get along.
The final step (pending agreement by both parties) is the payment of the adoption fee and filling in of associated paperwork for your new furbaby.
