About Panda - The Ultimate Mummies Boy
Meet Panda – The Ultimate Mummy’s Boy 🐼❤️
Panda is a big, beautiful 5-year-old male short-haired tuxedo cat who is basically a real-life giant panda in cat form, except this one is obsessed with cuddles instead of bamboo!
This handsome boy was found as a tiny kitten and adored by his mum for years. When she had to move house, she reached out to us so Panda and his siblings could find their forever homes. Now this sweet mummy’s boy is ready to steal a new family’s heart.
Why He’s Like a Giant Panda
He’s a large, striking black-and-white tuxedo with that classic panda colouring.
He’s huge but total marshmallow at heart, soft, gentle, and incredibly sweet.
Just like a giant panda, he’s surprisingly playful and full of personality, but also loves nothing more than relaxing and being adored.
Personality Highlights
Panda is an extremely affectionate, incredibly loving boy who absolutely adores people. He’s confident, social, and friendly, making him a wonderful companion. He’s low maintenance and adapts to new environments very quickly, he’ll settle in and start demanding cuddles in no time!
He’s a bit of an attention hog (in the cutest way possible). If there are other cats around, he’s not afraid to gently push them aside so he can get all the pats and love.
He’s lived with other cats before and would do great:
As an only cat, so he can soak up every bit of his humans’ attention, or
With another male cat of similar age and chill-but-playful energy.
He’d also make a fantastic family cat, especially with older or calmer kids. Just note he prefers a home where things aren’t too loud or boisterous.
His Sweet Quirks
Huge snuggle bug: While he likes pats on his terms during the day, at night he turns into the ultimate bed buddy, curling up close and soaking up all the warmth and love.
Mummy’s boy through and through: He’s scared of bad weather (thunder, heavy rain) but becomes extra sweet and cuddly when he needs reassurance.
Playful thief: He loves playing and has a hilarious habit of stealing shoes and taking them for a “drive” around the house. You’ll never get bored with Panda around!
Warm, friendly, and full of love, Panda is the perfect mix of confident adventurer and gentle snuggler. He’s looking for a family who will give him plenty of affection, some playtime, and a safe place to hide when the storms roll in.
If you’re after a big, black-and-white cuddle monster who will follow you around, make you laugh with his shoe-stealing antics, and melt your heart with his sweetness, Panda is your boy.
Panda is approximately 5 years old, has been desexed, microchipped and vaccinated and is available for adoption right meow.
Currently located with one of our amazing foster carers in Rowville.

About Us
Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.
Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.
Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.
As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.
All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.
Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
How You Can Help
As a small, independent rescue, we depend entirely on the kindness and generosity of our supporters and animal lovers like you. If you would like to support our mission and help us save more lives, please visit the donations page on our website. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a meaningful difference.
We’d also love to connect with you on social media:

Following and sharing our pages helps us reach more potential adopters and supporters. If we can grow our audience, we’ll be able to generate a small ongoing income to sustain and expand the rescue.
We are always in need of foster carers. If you have a safe, loving temporary home and would like to help us care for a cat on their journey to their forever family, please get in touch. The more foster homes we have, the more cats we can save.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about Urban Feline Australia.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
