!! Voted Most Improved this week !!! What a little trooper Bugsy is!!
Bugsy has not had the start in life that any puppy deserves.
He came from a neglectful home where he and his siblings were left to live in a tiny, dirty yard, alongside overbred parents in what appears to have been a BYB situation. His many siblings were sold one by one but Bugsy and two other pups were left behind to suffer as they grew past that puppy stage.
Bugsy and his brother and sister (also here in rescue) spent two long months waiting for a rescue place to open — so as soon as we heard about them we just had to say yes.
Despite everything, Bugsy has been an absolute joy.
He is a sweet, gentle boy who is now learning that the world can be kind. He has already shown us how much love, trust and potential he has tucked inside that little body. With care, good food, vet treatment and a safe place to land, Bugsy is beginning to blossom.
Bugsy is looking for a home that understands he may need a little time, patience and reassurance as he continues to grow in confidence. He deserves a family who will show him consistency, kindness and all the things he missed out on as a baby.
This beautiful boy has come through a rough beginning with a soft heart still intact — and now he is ready for the future he always should have had.

No known pre-existing conditions.
Bugsy was admitted into care with evidence of trauma to the top of his head. Following ultrasound and radiography of his skull, the RSPCA veterinarian advised that there was no evidence of ongoing or long-term effects from the issue. He is cleared to be adopted and DESERVES a loving home. He has also just been sterilized.
