Meet Archie & Marley

Archie and Marley are a bonded pair who have grown up side by side and truly do life together. They’re not just two dogs in the same home they’re a little team, and they’re looking for a family who will see them that way and keep them together.

Archie is the more outgoing of the two. He’s people-focused, loves being involved in whatever you’re doing, and has a sweet habit of quietly following you from room to room just to stay close. He’s affectionate, social, and happiest when he’s part of the action. Marley is his softer counterpart, calm, gentle, and a bit more reserved. She loves comfort and quiet moments, often found stretched out in a sunny spot or curled up nearby, perfectly content just being close to her people.

While they absolutely love their downtime (and are expert sunbakers and professional nappers), they also enjoy their walks and being out and about. They walk well together and really enjoy that time exploring the world side by side.

They’ve been raised around children and are well suited to a family home, including families with kids 5 years and older. They’re also okay being left for reasonable periods during the day, settling easily at home once they’ve had their time with you.

Marley has an inverted disc in her back that has been fully assessed by vets and monitored over time. She’s had it for a few years and it doesn’t cause her any pain or impact her day-to-day life. Occasionally she has a slight skip in her movement, which is fairly common for the breed, but she does not require surgery or pain relief, and vets are happy with her current management.

Breed experience is preferred but not essential. As with many French Bulldogs, they do best in a home with air conditioning during the warmer months to keep them comfortable.

Archie and Marley are dog friendly, however they are very much happiest together and must be rehomed as a pair. They are more than enough for each other, and that bond is what makes them feel secure and content. They would also be best suited as the only pets in the home so they can relax and just enjoy their people without disruption.

They are crate trained, walk well on lead, and have lovely basic manners that make them easy to integrate into a home, but what really stands out is their connection to each other and to their humans.

They’re the kind of dogs who will happily go for a walk, to the beach with you, then come home and curl up together nearby while you go about your day. Present, affectionate, steady… and always in sync with one another.

They are in care in New Lambton, NSW, and are not available for adoption interstate. The adoption fee is $700, and they are desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, treated for fleas, ticks and worms.
