Looking for a sophisticated little gentleman to complete your home? Meet Berlioz, the sweetest soul from his litter who is now ready to find his forever family.
Berlioz is a wonderful mix of an independent explorer and a total sweetheart. While heās always up for a bit of mischief with his sisters, heās also a master of the "quiet life," often found tucked away in a cosy corner for a well-deserved nap.
š± Personality & Temperament
Berlioz is the "thinker" of the group. Heās not one for constant chaos; instead, he prefers to observe the world from the highest point of his cat tree. He has a lovely, mellow nature and a very gentle heart.
Energy Level: Medium ā he loves a good play session but knows how to relax.
The "Velcro" Factor: Heās an independent lad who enjoys his own space, but donāt let that fool youāhe absolutely adores cuddles and will happily soak up all the affection you can give.
Social Butterfly: He is fantastic with other cats! Heās looking for a home where he can have a chill feline friend to hang out with.
š The Ideal Home
Berlioz isn't particularly fearful of loud noises or hoovers, but he definitely appreciates a calm and relaxed environment.
Other Pets: He must go to a home with another cat. He loves the company of his own kind and wouldn't be happy as a solo kitty. š±+š±
Children: Heās great with kids! As long as they respect his need for a quiet snooze every now and then.
Dogs: Untested, but with his easy-going nature, he could likely adapt with slow introductions.
Space: A home with a sturdy cat tree is a mustāit's his favourite place to keep watch over his kingdom! š°

Toys: Heās a big fan of racing through tunnels, chasing balls, and climbing to the very top of his cat tree.
Nap Spots: Anywhere soft! Youāll usually find him in a cosy bed or perched high up on his tower.
Treats: His favourite reward is simply some love and a good chin scratch.

Adoption details
Our adoption process is as follows:
1. Submit an adoption application via our website at www.rescuecatsofmelbourne.com.au/adopt
2. We will be in touch with you within 48 hours if we wish to progress your application.
3. A meet and greet will then be organised so that you can meet your potential new family member!
4. Upon a successful meet and greet, an adoption day will be set for you to come and collect your new family member and sign all required paperwork
All of our cats come de-sexed, vaccinated, microchipped, flea treated, worm treated and with a clean bill of health.
Our 10-Day Health Guarantee: We want you to feel confident in your new family memberās health. We offer a 10-day cooling-off period specifically for health-related concerns. If your kitten shows signs of a pre-existing illness (such as a respiratory infection or parasite) within the first 10 days of arriving home, please contact us immediately. During this window, you have the option to return the kitten for a full refund or work with our rescue team to ensure the kitten receives the necessary care. We are committed to transparency and the wellbeing of our cats.
