🐾 Meet Bess 🐾
Bess is a beautiful girl with a gentle soul who is searching for a patient and understanding home. While she may be shy at first, those who take the time to earn her trust are rewarded with a loving, loyal companion who forms incredibly special bonds with her people.
🐶 Personality
Bess is a sweet-natured girl who likes to take things at her own pace. New people and unfamiliar situations can be a little overwhelming for her, so she needs time to feel safe and secure. Once her confidence grows, her playful and goofy side begins to shine. She loves cuddles, enjoys being close to her people, and has a wonderful sense of fun that will make you smile. One thing Bess never lacks confidence in is her love for other dogs. She absolutely adores canine company and is noticeably happier and more relaxed when she has a dog friend around.
🎓 Training
Bess walks beautifully on lead and prefers to stay close by your side. She can occasionally startle if she accidentally creates tension on the lead, but overall she is a lovely walking companion. She is also a clever girl with good recall when she feels comfortable and secure in her surroundings. She enjoys playing with toys and continues to build her confidence through positive experiences, routine, and encouragement.
🏡 Perfect Home
Bess is looking for a calm, child-free home with patient adopters who understand that trust takes time. She would thrive with another friendly, confident dog who can help show her that the world isn't such a scary place. Her ideal family will allow her to settle in at her own pace, celebrate the small wins, and give her the time she needs to truly blossom. In return, Bess will reward them with unwavering loyalty, affection, and companionship.
Bess may not be the dog who runs straight up to greet you on day one, but for the person willing to give her a chance, she will become a devoted best friend and a much-loved member of the family. 💚

~Work commitments/how long would I be left alone?
~Why do you think I would suit your family?
~As a working breed I will need lots of training, exercise & mental stimulation. How to do plan to meet those needs?
~ Have you done any training with other dogs? If so what training have you and your previous/current dog completed?
~I will need additional vet work in my life time such as follow up
vaccinations etc, is this a problem?
~I will also need flea and worm treatments to keep me at my
optimum health, are you prepared for that?
~I've had a diet since being at the rescue of quality biscuits, can you guarantee to continue my current diet?
~ I am a good 10-20 years commitment are you 100% ready to
give me a home?

~A yard check or photographic proof of secure fencing, shelter & sleeping areas will be required.
~Written agreement is required by your landlord/real estate for rental properties. A rates notice is required for homeowners.
~A vet reference may be required.
