About Gemma
They are two incredibly cute and energetic little kittens.
When we first met, they were both very shy and refused to come out of their carrier. The boy hissed at me the moment he saw me, while the girl quietly hid behind him. Every time we made eye contact, she would turn around, bury her face in the corner of the carrier, and point her tiny butt at me.
But after just one day, they began exploring every corner of the house with endless curiosity. Everything fascinated them. They especially loved it when I threw a toy for them because they would immediately chase after it together.
They wrestle and play fight all the time, but at night, they groom each other before falling asleep. Whenever I come home, they run to the door excitedly to greet me. Every night, not long after I lie down, both of them climb onto the bed and curl up beside my pillow. Sometimes I wake up in the middle of the night and feel their tiny wet noses sniffing at me.
The girl is still a little shyer than her brother, so it took us longer to become close. Most of her paw pads are black except for one tiny pink one. Somehow, that feels exactly like her. She seems cool and cautious on the outside, but underneath, she is unbelievably sweet.
We spent such a peaceful and happy April and May together.
