About Buster
The question is “How much more black can a cat be?” And the answer is “None. None more black?”.
Even though he's just a baby, Buster is ready to casually and confidently bust his way into any household. Whether you’re a family with young kids searching for a sleepy friend, a couple creating a warm and cosy life together, or someone who simply wants a loyal companion for quiet evenings, Buster is more than ready to steal your heart … and your lap too. How would you like a low maintenance, high cuteness fluff in your house?
Buster is also a very curious little fellow. He loves to confidently explore any new environment. But when he’s finished exploring, he’s keen to get back on your lap or his bed. Born in a Sydney backyard, Buster was brought indoors at just seven weeks old. Within days, he had transformed into a calm, affectionate little cuddle-machine, happily climbing onto laps after meals and confidently yet politely asks for scratches and pats like he’d been a house cat his whole life.
This little black relaxed fluffington has a personality whose colours don’t show.

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
