About Snowball
Meet Snowball – Your New Fluffy Best Friend! ❄️
Hi there! My name is Snowball, and I’m a gorgeous 5-year-old fluffy white girl with the sweetest personality. I’m a total people-lover who believes life is better with company, preferably on your lap, or zooming around the house chasing you in a fun game of “catch me if you can!”
I was sadly left behind by my previous owner and was surviving on the kindness of passers-by who fed me. A wonderful good Samaritan rescued me, gave me a safe place, and showered me with love. But they didn't have a lot of space so I had to stay in the one room most of the time and they let me out every now and then to have a run around, which was fantastic!
Unfortunately, they couldn't keep me long-term, so they contacted Urban Feline Australia and I'm now living with my new foster family in Rowville.
I’m affectionate, social, and incredibly playful. I love attention and will happily follow you from room to room, happily purring away once I settle on your lap for cuddles. I’m confident and adventurous too.
I enjoy exploring and playing, but I’m also a gentle lady who prefers to come to you on my own terms. If picked up or handled too much, I can get a little anxious and grumpy, so I’m looking for a patient, understanding home where I can set the pace for snuggles.
A little note about my FIV status
I’m FIV+, but please don’t let that worry you! It doesn’t affect me at all, I’m a happy, healthy, energetic girl with no symptoms and no special needs. I don’t require any medication, and with normal care (just like any cat), I can live a long, wonderful life full of love and play. Many FIV+ cats like me live happily into their teens with no issues, especially in a single-cat or FIV+ compatible home. I just need a family who understands that I’m still a perfectly normal (and very lovable) cat!
Important note for families:
I've been through a lot recently so I'm going to take some time to settle into any new environment. I will most likely be very scared and very grumpy when I first arrive so please just give me a little time to get used to my new surroundings. Once I've had a chance to relax it will be all purrs and cuddles I promise!
Because I somtimes play quite rough and I love to stalk and chase, I’d be best suited to a home with no small children. I’d thrive as an only cat, or possibly with another friendly cat, as long as I'm in a calm, adult-focused household where I can be the centre of attention.
I'm 5 years old, desexed, microchipped, vaccinated, located in Rowville with my amazing foster family and ready for adoption right meow.
If you’re ready for a loyal, lap-loving, playful companion with plenty of sass and a big personality wrapped in fluffy white fur, I’d love to meet you! I’m ready to give you endless purrs, head boops, and zoomies in exchange for a safe, loving home.
Please get in touch if you think we’d be a good match. I can’t wait to start my next chapter with you! 💕
About Us
Urban Feline Australia is a small, independent cat rescue dedicated to saving surrendered cats from kill shelters and finding them loving, permanent homes.
Founded and run by a passionate animal lover with the support of dedicated friends and volunteers, we specialise in caring for cats that have previously lived in family homes but, for various reasons, can no longer stay with their owners.
Since our inception, we have been fortunate to build a small but dedicated network of volunteer foster carers. These compassionate individuals welcome the surrendered cats into their homes, providing them with love, care, and a safe environment while we search for their perfect forever families.
As a tiny, grassroots rescue with no government funding or large facilities, every rescue is powered by compassion, community support, and a genuine commitment to animal welfare.
All adoption fees and donations go directly toward the essential needs of the cats in our care — including premium food, veterinary treatment, litter, equipment, and ongoing medical support. We rely heavily on the generosity of our foster carers, volunteers, and supporters to continue our work.
Our long-term vision is to expand so we can help even more cats in need. This includes securing a larger dedicated property and, one day, possibly opening a cat café to raise awareness and funds while creating a welcoming space for cat lovers.
How You Can Help
As a small, independent rescue, we depend entirely on the kindness and generosity of our supporters and animal lovers like you. We are always in need of foster carers. If you have a safe, loving temporary home and would like to help us care for a cat on their journey to their forever family, please get in touch. The more foster homes we have, the more cats we can save.
Thank you for taking the time to learn about Urban Feline Australia.

Adoption details
We try to make things very easy and straight forward while at the same time making sure we are matching the right cat to the right home.
The first step in the adoption process is a quick chat over the phone to make you are able meet the cats needs and your home is a good fit for the cats personality.
From there we will organize a meet and greet the cats foster home where you will be able to see the cat in action and get a gauge of their personality.
Once you have adopted you new furry feline friend we offer ongoing support and you are welcome to contact us anytime if you have questions, concerns or need advice.
We work hard to make sure that each cat is a good fit for their new home but in the unlikely even that things do not work out we have a 21 day cooling off period and you are more than welcome to return the cat to us during that time.
We will happily refund 50% of the adoption fee or you are welcome to donate this refund to assist with the ongoing cost of the animals care.
