About Ivy
Ivy loves to be the center of attention! If there's one thing this happy little girl doesn't like, its being left out!
When her foster brothers are playing, she wants to be in there too. If there's a lap to sit on, she wants to be the one sitting on it! If there are people in bed, then she wants to be in there too!
She's great with other cats. She loves grooming her foster brothers, playing with them and snuggling up with them. She's not scared to get in there and rumble with the rowdy boys.
We think she'd be fine with kids even though she hasn't been around too many yet. She gets used to new things pretty quickly.
She's an excellent alarm clock, and will come and snuggle with you in the morning. What a way to start the day!
Ivy would suit any home where she can get plenty of attention and love!
Medical notes
No known pre-existing conditions.
Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
