Harry (On Trial)

On trial in a new home from 1/11/11. Please see all our other dogs at www. Dogrescuenewcastle. Com. Au. . . Harry is a gorgeous, gentle, tiny 9-12 month old chihuahua x maltese puppy. He gets on great with small dogs, cats and big dogs also, once he gets to know them. He may be tiny but he has such a big heart and so much love to give!. . . Harry is an indoor dog, and an adorable little guy who has the cutest little face, a big sook, and he loves to get cuddles and give lots of kisses! he enjoys playing outside and playing inside with our cats and dogs. He loves our kids! he gets very excited when he sees them and likes to chase them around the back yard while the kids laugh and try to keep away from him. Harry loves to snuggle on the lounge with our children under his favourite green blanket where he feels safe :-) he is very playful and loves to run and chase our other cats and dogs to play or just lay outside on the grass when the sun is out. . . Harry has had a rough start to life. He had to have a toe amputated on his front left paw due to being bitten in the pound. But this does not slow him down at all, if anything it just adds to the character of this beautiful little boy. It is fully healed now and does not affect him at all!. . Harry is house trained; he goes outside to do his business as needed. He was very quiet when he first came into our care but now thinks he is a little watch dog and barks to let us know when someone comes near our house. . . Daily brushing will be needed as his fur is quite fine and wiry. He loves to sleep in bed with us and our small dogs/cats at night, even though it gets rather squashed! it does take harry a little while to settle into a new home and to show his true personality, but it is well worth the wait! harry has the sweetest, gentlest and most loving temperament. He loves to lick us all the time, especially to wake us up in the morning :-) he can also be shy of strangers, more so males, but will love and affection, that bond can be created and you will have a loyal friend for life!. . . A home with children and another dog to keep him company would suit harry, or even a home with retiree/s would also be suitable, but wherever he goes, there will need to be someone there with him most of the time. . . *** please see more photos of harry at
