About Forrest
FOSTER OR FOSTER-TO-ADOPT HOME NEEDED
Like many GSPs, Forrest is intelligent, active, people-focused, and absolutely overflowing with love. Despite his size, he firmly believes he's a lap dog and will happily curl up on top of you for a cuddle and an afternoon snooze. If you're looking for a shadow who wants to be involved in everything you do, Forrest is your boy.
Forrest is currently working through a separation anxiety training program with the support of our certified separation anxiety trainer. His foster family will receive guidance every step of the way, with daily short training sessions to complete and video to send through to our trainer. We'll be with you throughout the journey, so you'll never be tackling it alone.
To help Forrest succeed, we're looking for a foster home with:
• Experience with German Shorthaired Pointers or similar high-energy working breeds
• Someone who is home, or has someone home, all of the time
• A secure backyard with safe fencing
• A willingness to commit to his daily training plan
• A home as an only dog, or with another playful Pointer or large breed dog
Forrest has so much love to give, and fostering him is an incredibly rewarding opportunity to help a wonderful dog on his journey to his forever home. If you think you could be the right fit, we'd love to hear from you.
