When Kuro first arrived at the shelter, the world felt like a very scary place. This sensitive boy preferred to keep to himself, watching quietly from safe hiding spots while he tried to figure everything out. But with time, patience, and lots of gentle encouragement from our staff, Kuro has started to show us the lovely cat he truly is.

These days, Kuro is much more confident and has really come out of his shell. Once he gets to know you, he turns into quite the smoochy boy who enjoys affection, company, and being around the people he trusts. Watching his personality blossom has been incredibly rewarding, and we know there is an even happier, more relaxed cat waiting to shine in a forever home.

Kuro will still appreciate a calm home and patient adopters who understand he may need a little time to settle in at first, but once he feels safe, he forms beautiful bonds with his people. He's the kind of cat who makes earning his trust feel extra special 💕
