About 🦁 Leo 🦁
Meet Leo: the dating profile you never knew you needed
Are you sick and tired of dating gorgeous men who send mixed messages and won’t commit?
Then give them the flick and take Leo home instead!
Unlike those Tinder swindlers, Leo is breathtakingly handsome AND genuinely searching for his one true love. Sure, he may occasionally lean in for affection while simultaneously growling like he’s reconsidering all his life choices… but that’s just part of his mysterious charm. Communication may be confusing, but commitment? Leo is all in!
At 3/4 Maine Coon and 1/4 Ragdoll, Leo brings the best of both worlds: luxurious good looks, soft floofy fur, and a solid 6–7kg cuddle package. He’s not massive for a Maine Coon, but he’s still very much a “move over, I need my own side of the couch” kind of gentleman. His stunning ginger-and-white coat pairs beautifully with a face that permanently says, “Interesting choice… I’ll allow it.” Quiet judgement has never looked so adorable.
Leo enjoys the finer things in life: short supervised strolls around a secure courtyard, catio, or protected yard, quality one-on-one time with his chosen human, and maintaining his fresh new tummy haircut. That’s right - this boy comes freshly groomed with a neat little belly shave, so you can admire his fluffy magnificence without worrying about upkeep.
Now, let’s talk relationship expectations. Leo is not interested in casual dating. He is searching for full monogamy and would like to be your one and only. No cats. No dogs. No kids. Just you, Leo, and your exclusive long-term situationship-turned-soulmate arc.
If your ideal partner is devastatingly handsome, slightly emotionally confusing, fiercely loyal, and comes with built-in floof, Leo may just be your purrfect match!

Adoption details
ADOPTION PROCESS:
1. An Adoption enquiry should be made via
https://form.jotform.com/shellys.place.rescue/adoption-enquiry
2. Once your application has been received, one of our volunteers will contact you for a phone interview. This is to determine whether one of our cats or kittens will be a good fit for your home. We all want long-term success in placing rescue animals, so finding the best fit for the animal AND the family is very important.
3. 'Meet & Greet' with the animal and their carer will then take place if the application is approved.
4. A property check will take place via a video. Once this has been successfully completed, adoption paperwork finalised and the adoption donation processed, the pet can be collected from foster care.
5. A 14 day settling-in period commences once the animal has been collected from foster care.
6. Adoption is finalised after 14 days. Paperwork/records will be included in an adoption pack.
7. All animals will be rehomed desexed, 1st vaccinated, microchipped and treated monthly for fleas and intestinal worms. Once the adoption is finalised, the new owners are responsible for all vaccinations and preventative treatments.
As we are run entirely of volunteers we endeavour to respond to your enquiry as soon as we can. Your patience is greatly appreciated.
PLEASE NOTE: We are unable to hold any animals. Please only apply if you are ready to adopt now.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
