This beautiful young lady came into my life as a foster only 2 weeks ago. When I saw the photo of her in my Facebook feed, I knew she was the one for me and I was the one for her.

When I got the text on a Sunday afternoon to say she was arriving in Brisbane, I couldn’t wait to get in the car and pick her up for her new start in life. To see the tail between her legs and how scared she was, made my heart sink, but I knew with lots of love (and treats), we’d be besties.

Fast forward to now and this lovely girl won’t leave my side and she’s made herself right at home, sleeping up on the bed and on the lounge. She loves going for coffee in the morning, loves car rides and she enjoys taking the stuffed toys out of the basket and throwing them all around the house. She adores cuddles and to see her smiling, is wonderful.

She’s also a great watch dog too – telling anyone who wants to enter, they better be nice or else.

I don’t think either of us could be any happier. Thank you SEQ K9 Rescue for the perfect “foster fail”.
