About Enid
Meet Enid, the sweetest little lady with a heart full of love and an inquisitive nature. Having spent much of her life as a street-savvy feline and loving mumma, Enid is now ready to embrace the comforts of home life and step into her well-deserved role as a cherished companion. Her petite frame hides a mighty spirit, and she is ready to bring a touch of grace and charm to a new family.
Enid enjoys cozy napping spots and delights in good chin scratches or a lavish pat. In fact, chin scratches are her currency to happiness; they're even her ticket through any visit to the vet! Her playful side reveals itself in bursts of energy, sprinting from one end to another and particularly when there's a teaser wand involved.
Enid has previously shared her space with other cats but will suit either a laid-back older cat or even a younger playful cat to join her in sprints. While she has only just been introduced to dogs, her demeanor suggests she would tolerate a calm and respectful canine friend. Her ideal home would offer a serene environment where she can explore to find all the secrets. This lovely lady lets you know when she's had her fill of attention, so understanding cat owners will appreciate her balanced need for independence and affection.
If you're looking for a sweet-tempered companion with both personality and poise, Enid is your girl. She will flourish in a gentle home where she can relax and indulge in the peaceful life she so deserves.
Available after 5th June 2026.

Adoption details
All forms (including foster and adoption) can be found at the following link:
http://www.challyanimalrescue.org.au/adopt.php
** Only applications submitted via this link will be considered **
Our adoption process is as follows:
1) Animal is listed on PetRescue
2) Applications are received
3) The application which we feel offers the best-suited home to the pet is contacted for first preference of a meet and greet to see if they 'click' with the animal.
We do not follow a first-in, first-served process and only consider applications completed via our online form.
Due the popularity of some dogs - and the fact that our rescue is run entirely by volunteers - we cannot guarantee that all unsuccessful applicants will be notified, however we will do our best.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
