💛 Personality & Backstory
Meet this sweet senior girl Star 🤍
She’s 16 years old and very much in her soft, sleepy retirement era. Her absolute favourite things in life are warm spots, soft blankets, being near her person, and eating. Especially wet food. Especially fish-flavoured wet food. If food is involved, she will absolutely let you know about it.
She’s not an energetic or playful cat anymore, and she’s not the type to climb, zoom around, or constantly seek attention. Most of her day is spent peacefully sleeping nearby and quietly existing beside you. She would suit someone wanting a very low-energy companion who simply enjoys company and comfort.
She does have a very strong appetite and can be vocal when she wants food, so she’ll need someone prepared and happy to stay on top of her meals and care for her as a senior cat.
Underneath her little old-lady personality, she’s just an elderly cat wanting warmth, routine, food, and somewhere safe to rest through her golden years.

Adoption details
Adopting with Kittie Kat Rescue Inc.
Bringing a new pet into your home is a long-term commitment—both emotionally and financially. Cats can live 15 to 20 years, so it's essential that all family members are prepared to provide love, shelter, and a safe environment for their lifetime. This includes premium nutrition, regular veterinary care, and ensuring they are kept indoors only or have access to a secure, cat-proof outdoor enclosure.
Our Adoption Process:
-Initial Contact & Questionnaire. We’ll start by sending you our adoption questionnaire via email or text message. This helps us understand your home environment and what you're looking for in a feline companion.
-Video Tour. We will require a video tour of your home, focusing on safety features such as secure screens on windows, doors and balconies. Plus, we’d love to see where your new kitty will be set up in their new home!
-Meet & Greet with the Foster Carer. Once your application is complete and approved, we’ll arrange a time for you to meet the cat with their foster carer.
-Adoption & Bringing Your Cat Home. In some cases, if your application is approved and the cat has completed all their vet work, they can go home with you straight after the meet and greet (an adoption fee is payable). Adoption paperwork will follow.
-Settling-In Period & Adoption Finalisation. Every adoption includes a two-week settling-in period from the time of adoption. If, for any reason, your new cat isn’t the right fit for your home, you can return them within this period for a 50% refund of the adoption fee.
-All of our cats come microchipped, desexed, with one or more vaccinations, and will be lifetime registered. Depending on their age, kittens may need their second (and potentially third) vaccination undertaken by the adopter after adoption. The transfer of ownership is completed as soon as possible.
All adoptions will also carry a lifetime registration/admin fee of $50 on top of the above adoption price.
