Tickles is a truly striking girl, with her stunning yellow eyes and luxurious black smoke coat turning heads wherever she goes. But she’s not just a pretty face—this lovely lady has a playful, affectionate personality to match.
Tickles loves a good play session and will happily chase toys and keep herself entertained, but she’s just as content winding down with her favourite human. In fact, one of her favourite things in the world is curling up and sleeping beside her person, soaking up all the comfort and companionship a loving home can offer.
Tickles knows exactly what she wants in life, and at the top of that list is being your one and only. She isn’t interested in sharing her home with other cats or dogs—she’d much rather have all your attention to herself.
For her own safety, Tickles will need to be indoor-only. She has three legs, but don’t let that fool you—she gets around beautifully and doesn’t let it slow her down one bit. She’s adapted wonderfully and lives life to the fullest.
Tickles may be open to a home with calm, respectful children or teenagers who understand her need for space and gentle handling. A quieter household where she can feel secure and loved will suit her best.

Adoption details
Simply note the ID number and the cats name and visit our hostel at 200 Elder Street in Greensborough. Alternatively you can call the hostel on 8457 6500. We are currently open Mon-Fri 10am-4pm / Sat-Sun 10am-3pm.
You should bring proof of your current address and preferably photo identification such as your driving license. You can only adopt a cat for yourself we do not allow animals to leave with third parties. If you are wishing to adopt a cat as a present for someone, bring them with you as cats are individuals and bond with different people in different ways, the cat you may choose, may not choose your friend! It is also important to allocate time for adoption and we recommend you allow at least a couple of hours to get to know the cat and do the necessary paperwork.
When you visit you will get to meet the cat and as this is a very important decision for both you and the cat you choose we will want to ensure the two of you are compatible and that you understand what will be involved in taking the cat into your home.
We will want to be satisfied that you are prepared to be a responsible pet owner. Responsible pet owners at the most basic level, have their pets registered, micro-chipped and de-sexed unless they are registered breeders. They also understand the issues involved in being able to properly care and take responsibility for the welfare of their pets. Most Councils in Victoria have limits on the numbers of cats you may own without a permit. It is important to check with your Council if you already own the limit and obtain a permit for the extra cat before adoption. We will require to see your permit.
