About Tokyo
Tokyo is a desexed female cat available for adoption in Leichhardt (Inner West, NSW).
Tokyo is a cat who leads with curiosity. She's athletic, observant, and always claiming the best vantage point in the room, turning hide-and-seek into a full-time hobby.
She shares a close, easy bond with her best mate, Kit: their naps sync up without trying, and wherever one settles, the other is rarely far behind.
Tokyo thrives on routine and a calm, steady household, and settles beautifully into indoor or apartment living.
A little about Tokyo:
🐾 Turns hide-and-seek into a full-time hobby, always finding the one spot nobody thought to check
🐾 Claims the highest or most unexpected perch in any room, like she owns it
🐾 Dinner time turns her delightfully vocal, right on cue, ears up and ready
🐾 A watcher and a chooser, taking everything in before picking her person
🐾 Shares a close bond with her best mate, Kit
Tokyo is a watcher and a chooser, taking her time to survey a new room before deciding where she stands. She takes everything in first, then picks her person and is all in once she has.
Once she's settled with you, she curls in close and stays there, calm and content, her own steady rhythm.
Tokyo's affection runs deep once she's made her choice. She curls in close and stays there, calm and content, a devoted presence in her own quiet way.
She's easy-care and independent, just as happy curled up nearby as she is being fussed over, never demanding but always present.
Tokyo will flourish in a household that thrives on routine and a calm, steady rhythm. She's happiest without dogs in the picture, and settles beautifully into indoor or apartment living.
Tokyo and Kit are a package; they're only looking for a home that can take them both, and a home that keeps that routine steady is the one that suits her best.
Tokyo takes her time deciding who she trusts, and that considered approach is simply part of her charm; once she's chosen you, she's genuinely all in.
Picture a slow Saturday morning: Tokyo perched somewhere with a good view of the room. Evenings on the couch, interrupted only by her very clear opinions about dinner time.
Tokyo is curiosity, quiet devotion and a talent for finding the best seat in the house, all wrapped up in one athletic cat who chooses her people carefully. Alongside Kit, she's ready to bring you into a team that already knows how to be one.

Adoption details
When enquiring about a pet listed with Home2Home, your enquiry goes directly to the pet’s guardian—the person who knows them best!
From here, the guardian will be in touch to learn more about you and chat with you about their pet. It’s a great opportunity for you to ask any questions you may have about the pet, including its likes and dislikes, needs, and how it may fit into your lifestyle and family.
If your home and lifestyle match the pet's needs, the next step will be arranging a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is happy to proceed with a formal adoption.
Following the adoption, change of ownership paperwork will be completed, and proof of vaccination, microchipping, and desexing (if applicable, as indicated on the listing) will be provided.
All pets adopted through Home2Home will require an adoption contract to be signed and an adoption fee to be paid. The pet’s guardian will complete the adoption contract with you and provide a link to PetRescue’s secure payment portal for completing the adoption fee payment.
Home2Home currently operates a ‘pay what you choose’ system for cat adoption fees. This means that adopters will be able to choose an adoption fee amount that is suitable for them. All adoption fees are used to support PetRescue's life-saving programs, including Home2Home.
