Countess Scratchula

Hello, I’m Countess Scratchula.

I know. It is a very dramatic name for such a pretty little kitten, but I think it suits me perfectly.

I can be a little reserved when meeting new people. I like to sit back first, watch what is happening, and decide if you seem trustworthy. The good news is, once I realise you are nice, I warm up pretty quickly, and my confidence starts to shine through.

I get along really well with other cats and enjoy their company, but I would also be perfectly happy as your one and only. I am quite independent in some ways, but I also really love being close to my people once I feel safe.

Teenagers seem lovely so far in my experience. I have not met young children yet, but because I can be a little cautious at first, I would probably prefer a calmer home over a very loud or busy one.

Dogs are still a bit of a mystery to me. I have not met one properly, but hearing the neighbour’s dog barking does not bother me too much, so I think, with slow introductions and the right dog, I could probably adjust.

Now let us talk about toys. I love toys. Crinkly toys, feather toys, balls, anything that moves really. And the laser pointer? Incredible. One of my greatest talents is launching myself into the air, trying to catch things mid jump like some tiny furry acrobat.

My litter habits are perfect. Absolutely no complaints there.
At night, I have a very important routine. I like to sneak under the blankets and curl up beside you while you sleep. It is warm, cosy, and honestly feels like the safest place in the world.

I might not be the kind of kitten who charges headfirst into every new situation, but give me a little patience and kindness and you will discover a playful, affectionate little companion quietly waiting underneath.
