Nalu is searching for an experienced bird owner with a calm, understanding approach to parrot care.
She thrives in an environment with a large aviary where she can safely explore, stretch her wings, and enjoy regular flying time. Enrichment is important to her-she loves foraging activities that keep her curious and engaged, and she particularly enjoys working for her food rather than having it handed to her.
Nalu has a playful personality and is quite the talker once she feels comfortable. She makes a range of cute, attention-seeking sounds and enjoys interacting on her own terms. She's social and observant, but like many parrots, she prefers to decide when she's ready to step up.
She especially enjoys walnut treats will happily work at cracking them open, making them one of her favourite rewards.
Nalu would suit a knowledgeable home that understands parrot body language, respects boundaries, and can provide both mental stimulation and physical space. In the right environment, she'll be a lively, engaging companion with plenty of personality to share.
