NAME: Lieutenant Dan

BEFORE RESCUE: Came to SAFE Esperance as a very young kitten from the pound with his siblings.

PERSONALITY: Friendly, playful and sweet!

FAVOURITE THINGS: Lieutenant Dan loves to play with anything that moves but especially loves ball and mouse toys. Once he’s finished playing, he’ll curl up for a snooze on a sunny window ledge before waking up and starting all over again! He loves fish so would suit a house where his new owner can bring him fresh fish occasionally from their day out fishing.

OTHER ANIMALS: He gets on well with other friendly cats and could live with a cat-savvy dog after gentle, supervised introduction.

GENERAL INFO: Lieutenant Dan is microchipped and vaccinated. He is flea and worm treated and is litter trained and very clean.

ESSENTIALS for Lieutenant Dan:

** A loving home where he’s given time initially to settle in and get comfortable, then gets plenty of attention but is treated gently. He would go well with gentle children who will play and engage with him on a daily basis.

** Lieutenant Dan needs to be kept as an inside only cat or have access to a secure outside cat run. He loves to spend time in the catio at his foster carer’s home.

ADOPTION FEE – $435
Adoption fee includes vet check, sterilisation, first f3 vaccination, flea and worm treatment and microchip, including the transfer of ownership.

ADOPTION DETAILS

After applying, one of our SAFE coordinators will be in touch to arrange for you to meet with the cat/kitten or to talk to their carer for more information.

Our adoption process includes a two-week trial to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your home. After a successful trial period, SAFE Esperance will arrange transfer of ownership on your new pet’s microchip and email copies of their vet records out to you.
