About Wade
🐾 Meet Wade - Your Next King of the Couch 🐾
Well now... pull up a bale and lend an ear, because Wade's got a tale worth tellin'.
This here is Wade, a fine, strapping 8 years and 3 months young, dressed head-to-tail in a classic black-and-white coat like he's off to Sunday races-but don't be fooled, this fella's more about lounging than galloping. Built solid like a good farm ute and twice as comforting, Wade is a full-fledged smoocher, the sort that'll nuzzle his way into your day and not think twice about staying there.
🖤 The Personality
Wade's what you'd call a proper "purr cushion"-sets himself down, gets that motor running, and suddenly the whole world's a calmer place. He's got senior-boy wisdom, too... knows what he likes -
A quiet home where he reigns supreme (no other cats, thank you kindly)
Humans who appreciate a good cuddle session
A household where any kids are over 10 years old-he's not into the rough-and-tumble scene anymore
He's the type to claim his territory with quiet confidence-"This couch? Mine. That sunny windowsill? Also mine. You? Well... you're mine too now."
Wade's looking for a place where he can settle in like an old boots-and-saddle combo-comfortable, reliable, and right at home.
Indoor life , safe and snug
Only pet in the household (he prefers the spotlight, and fair enough too)
A family ready for a loyal companion who'll give back tenfold in affection
💬 In Wade's Own Words (more or less):
"Not rushin', not runnin', just lookin' for a spot by the fire and a human who knows a good cat when they see one."

Adoption details
BARC adoption officers will work with you to help you find a dog or cat that matches your needs, they will discuss things like yard fencing, exercise requirements, other pets and family members, lifestyle factors, and breed experience. To help make this as quick and easy as possible, we ask you complete and adoption questionnaire (located on our website, or you can complete on when you visit). This helps ensure that we are introducing you to the most suitable animals we have available.
We encourage all members of the household to attend a meet and greet with a pet prior to adopting an animal. If the animal being adopted is a dog, we will also require existing dogs in the household to attend the shelter as part of the meet and greet.
Holds can not be placed on animals over the phone, and can only be applied at the discretion of management.
This pet has been adopted and found love with its new family.
